 P.A.W.S. is offering
and
will have volunteer coordinators available to schedule training for the
following assignments: Cattery Aide. Kennel Aide, Front Desk
/ Receptionist, Cat Interactive Play, and Dog Walking
Potential volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation. At the Orientation, future volunteers will receive a Volunteer Packet containing pertinent information, review the Volunteer Handbook, learn about P.A.W.S. of Dearborn County, and take a tour of the facility. If the prospective volunteer has not yet completed a Volunteer Application & Profile, he/she may do so at this time. The application includes a waiver that notes the risks involved in working with animals. This must be signed before a person can become a volunteer. A group Front Desk training is scheduled for Sunday, January 22, beginning at 12:30 pm. |
