What are Feral cats?

Feral cats are the 'wild' offspring of domestic cats and are primarily the result of pet owners' abandonment or failure to spay and neuter their animals.

These cats are not adoptable as companion animals. If kittens are not socialized with humans by the time they are 2-3 months old, it is unlikely that they can become companion animals.

NEEDED: Barns!

The P.A.W.S. Humane Center and PAWS frequently have situations where feral cats need a home. P.A.W.S.  has the cats tested for FIV, FELV and vaccinated, and has the animals spayed and neutered. These cats will be content to live in a barn. Potential adopters agree to provide shelter, and feed and water the cats as they would any other pet.
