PAWS
holds "mobile adoption" events, which
means we take dogs and cats from the shelter to another location in the
county with the hopes of finding them good homes. It gives the dogs a
chance to socialize and interact with people. Even if the animals are
not adopted, they have had a good day.

Medical
Costs -
Shelter Animals
Because
the shelter
does not have funds for medical costs, PAWS pays for animals that are
sick and injured. PAWS pays for exams, x-rays, lab work, surgeries and
medication when necessary. We also pay for rabies vaccinations, as
these must be administered by a veterinarian
