New Shelter Blueprints.

A big “Thank You” to Darrell Sears of CSA Architects for donating his expertise and time to make the dream of a new shelter come true.

New Shelter Fund

There’s a place in our community where the hungry are fed, the homeless are  sheltered, and the abandoned are given care.  It’s the Dearborn County Animal Shelter, which  provides comfort and care for our community’s unwanted animals.

A new larger shelter with a comprehensive approach to animal comfort and care will benefit both the people and the    animals of Dearborn County.  For many years, P.A.W.S. volunteers and the shelter staff have dreamed of (and worked toward) a brighter future for our animals.   However, this new building can only be completed as designed if enough funds are raised.

Saving animal lives, ending animal suffering and homelessness, and providing shelter for unwanted litters is not just the responsibility of any one group of people.  It takes a concerted effort by many people … It takes a community.

Community can be defined in many ways.  It is  the animals we serve, the volunteers who give so willingly of their time and talent,  donors and sponsors who give generously and afford us the opportunity to increase our services and further our reach, and the shelter staff, who provide care for dozens of homeless, unwanted or injured animals every day.    It is our community that helps us help the animals.  We encourage those of you already involved, to continue to walk beside us.  We invite those of you who are searching for a way to help, to join us in the journey.

 You Can Make A Difference!.
