THE PRESSES! Mayor Cunningham and the City of
Lawrenceburg have agreed to help financially to build a new
shelter in Dearborn County!!! If PAWS can raise $800,000 then
the City of Lawrenceburg will match it with another $800,000.
Whoo hooo! Over the last several years the City of Lawrenceburg has provided operating funds to PAWS. Mayor Cunningham and the City of Lawrenceburg have shown a tremendous amount of support for PAWS and we thank them. |
| Public Service Electric & Gas | PSEG has very generously awarded $15,000 in 2005 and $10,000 in 2006 to spay/neuter shelter animals. Our heartfelt thanks to this new business in our community! |
| Darrell Sears, Architect | An enormous Thank You to Darrell for donating his time and services to develop a floor plan and color rendering for a new shelter. Darrell is invaluable in helping PAWS through all of the steps required in a large construction project. |
| Dearborn Community Foundation |
We are
very grateful to DCF for their support in the form of grants. Since 2003, DCF
has provided funding of $17,250 towards spaying/neutering of adoptable animals
residing at the Dearborn County Animal Shelter, $8,280 towards the spay/neuter
voucher program for companion animals, and $12,000 towards engineering and
pre-construction costs for the new animal shelter.

| Bright
Vet
Clinic and Lawrenceburg Vet Clinic |
A big thank you to the veterinarians and staff at these two clinics. They work with us to spay and neuter animals as well as treat sick and injured animals when necessary. |
| Irene
Romanchuk and the PetStuff staff |
We can't thank PetStuff enough for finding good homes for so many of the cats and kittens at the shelter. Since the store opened, more than 560 cats have been adopted directly from the store. |
| Cinergy Foundation | Over the last several years Cinergy has awarded funds through an employee volunteer program. |
| PAWS Volunteers | Thank you so much to all of the PAWS volunteers who show up week after week to donate your time helping the animals. The animals thank you! |
| Local Businesses | Many thanks to all the local businesses that allow us to set donation jars on their counter. It truly makes a difference in how much PAWS can accomplish! |
