Featured Pets

Pit Mix

5 years old

Female - Spayed

Ruby is a very loving dog that needs a quiet home, due to her recent ACL surgery on her back leg. She is picky when it comes to other dogs, so she would probably prefer to be your one and only princess. To win Ruby all you need to know is that she loves squeaky toys, getting her butt scratched, and relaxing in the sun.

Boxer Mix

4 years old

Female - Spayed

Dolly loves going outside to run and sunbathe. She would enjoy playing a game of tug of war with you. Cuddling is what she does best! She is full of energy and is looking for a family to match her energy level.

Angel Fund

What is the Angel Fund?

Financial demands of providing excellent care for our dogs and cats each year, combined with the extra cost of special veterinary treatments, limit our ability to meet unique medical needs. The Angel Fund was established by P.A.W.S. Humane Center as a way to cover expenses for treatment above and beyond the regular veterinary services animals receive while in our care.

Animals come in that require special treatment or surgeries, which may be from being abused, being hit by a car, or birth defects that require special surgeries.

George, is one of many animals, which has come to us in need of some extra attention. George came to P.A.W.S. in January of 2017. At the end of January he went to get his bilateral entropion repair on both his eyes. He stayed in foster until he was better and ready to be adopted. George is now happy in his furever home.

Pixie and Tinkerbelle came into the shelter in April 2017.Pixie within a couple of days had 2 hernia surgeries. They stayed in foster until their adoption in May to a loving home! Pixie is now Piper! Tinkerbell is now Willow!

All donations to P.A.W.S. are tax deductible.

Kuranda Dog and Cat Bed
We have chosen Kuranda beds to use in our center because they are of good quality, cost effective, and comfortable. Even though these beds are sturdy, they need to be replaced on a regular basis throughout the year due to chewing and general wear and tear. P.A.W.S. Humane Center is always in need of dog and cat beds! If you would like to donate a bed to provide comfort for our shelter friends, you can have a Kuranda bed sent directly to P.A.W.S. Humane Center.                         Please click here to go to our Kuranda page.

Marchioro Perla Pet Bed 30.5in

We use these beds for our cats and dogs. When dogs of all ages and sizes come into the shelter scared and nervous, we place blankets in these beds. They curl up and feel safer in a strange, loud environment. Our cats love to group together and take afternoon naps. We go through several beds due to chewing, clawing, and general wear and tear. If you would like to donate a bed you can go on amazon and have the bed shipped directly to P.A.W.S. Humane Center.
